Hey everyone, I’m Yash Bhavsar, an air quality researcher from India, currently working as a Technical Content Writer at Oizom, a company focused on developing smart and affordable environmental monitoring solutions. My interest in this field started during my Master’s in Environmental Engineering. For my M.Tech thesis, I focused on improving outdoor thermal comfort using nature-based solutions. This experience allowed me to dive deep into using Envi-met software for advanced urban climate modeling, exploring applications like pollutant dispersion, outdoor thermal comfort, and vegetative analysis. It sparked my passion for understanding air pollutant behavior, ultimately leading me to Oizom.

At Oizom, I share my knowledge through creative and informative blogs targeting students, professors, scientists, and industry professionals who are keen on tackling air quality challenges. With a background in environmental engineering and research, I enjoy exploring new studies, finding innovative ways to monitor air quality, and understanding the role of low-cost sensors and their accuracy. I’m passionate about writing on topics like air quality and environmental monitoring while also engaging with professionals on social media to exchange insights and build a better understanding of air quality issues.

My time at Oizom has been a great learning experience, where I’ve gained deeper insights into air quality monitoring.
