Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) Sensor Module
Compact air quality sensor for PPB level H2S monitoring
The Hydrogen Sulfide sensor module can accurately measure low concentrations of H2S at the ppb level in the ambient air. The sensor module design is capable to monitor the H2S emissions from point sources on a real-time basis.
The advanced support electronics of this air quality sensor makes it compact and reliable. The low noise electronics allows stable and accurate detection of carbon monoxide even at very low concentrations (<10 ppb) in the atmosphere. The H2S sensor module works on the electrochemical principle. Electrochemical sensors are very sensitive to the presence of H2S gas and also provide a stable response to transient relative humidity changes. Additionally, the advanced 4-electrode sensor technology has two high sensitivity electrodes to sense H2S concentration. The other two electrodes eliminate the effect of ambient conditions and ensure the accuracy of the sensor. Hence, this makes it an ideal choice for indicative real-time air quality monitoring for outdoor applications. Standard calibration gases and tools are used to calibrate the H2S sensor. The calibration is in accordance with the USEPA (40 CFR Part 53) and EU (2008/50/EC) defined for equivalent method instruments. Odour Monitoring System like Odosense Smart and Odosense Pro use the H2S sensor module. Therefore, this module is ideal for applications like smart city, industries, airport monitoring, sewage treatment plants, effluent treatment plants, and landfills.
