Leaf Wetness Sensor

Advanced Hydrogen Chloride Monitoring Sensor for Real-time Emission Monitoring

Leaf wetness monitoring is essential for monitoring leaf moisture, predicting disease outbreaks, and optimizing irrigation schedules. The LWS10 is a robust and reliable solution for accurate leaf wetness monitoring in agriculture, horticulture, and environmental research. Designed for real-time data collection, the OZLWS_1 helps assess surface moisture levels on plants, supporting critical decisions in irrigation planning and disease prevention.

Measurement Principle

Measurement Principle

The Leaf Wetness sensor uses capacitive sensing technology to detect the presence and duration of moisture on its surface. The sensor is designed to mimic the characteristics of a natural leaf, allowing water droplets, dew, or moisture to accumulate similarly to plant foliage. As moisture forms or evaporates, the capacitance of the sensing surface changes. These capacitance variations are measured and converted into wetness levels, enabling accurate real-time monitoring of leaf wetness conditions.
