The Oizom Oxygen Sensor is designed for precise measurement of oxygen concentration in the gas phase. This sensor is ideal for various industrial and environmental applications requiring accurate oxygen monitoring.
This sensor delivers high accuracy and reliability, with a nominal range of 0–25% volume oxygen and a maximum overload of 30% volume oxygen. At 20°C, the output signal is 100 ± 20 μA in air, with an impressive resolution of 0.1% volume oxygen. The sensor achieves 90% response time (T90) in less than 15 seconds and maintains excellent repeatability with an error margin of <±5% full scale or <0.3% volume oxygen, whichever is less.
Designed for a broad range of operating conditions, the sensor functions effectively in temperatures between -40°C to 50°C, with recommended storage temperature in the range of 10°C to 30°C. It operates reliably in 15–90% relative humidity (non-condensing) and can withstand 1 ± 0.1 atmospheric pressures. Long-term durability is ensured with an expected operating life of 5 years in clean air and a long-time output drift of less than 5% signal per year.
The oxygen sensor module works on an electrochemical principle. Electrochemical sensors are very sensitive to the presence of O2 and also provide a stable response to transient relative humidity changes. Hence, they are perfect for indicative real-time air quality monitoring for outdoor applications.
The sensor requires proper orientation during installation to ensure accurate readings. Additionally, exposure to high solvent concentrations or mechanical stress should be avoided to maintain functionality.
The sensor demonstrates minimal cross-sensitivity to other gases like hydrogen and carbon monoxide, ensuring accurate oxygen readings. Temperature performance remains stable across a wide range, as validated through confidence-tested output data.
