The Ozone sensor module can accurately measure low concentrations of O3 at the ppb level in the ambient air. The sensor module design is capable to monitor the atmospheric Ozone on a real-time basis.
The advanced support electronics of this air quality sensor makes it compact and reliable. The low noise electronics allows stable and accurate detection of carbon monoxide even at very low concentrations in the atmosphere.
The Ozone sensor module works on the electrochemical principle. Electrochemical sensors are very sensitive to the presence of Ozone gas and also provide a stable response to transient relative humidity changes. The advanced 4-electrode sensor technology has two high sensitivity electrodes to sense O3 concentration. The other two electrodes eliminate the effect of ambient conditions and ensure the accuracy of the sensor.
Hence, this makes it an ideal choice for indicative real-time air quality monitoring for outdoor applications.
Standard calibration gases and tools are used to calibrate the O3 sensor. The calibration is in accordance with the USEPA (40 CFR Part 53) and EU (2008/50/EC) defined for equivalent method instruments.
Outdoor air quality monitoring system like Polludrone Smart and Polludrone Pro use the this sensor module. Therefore, this module is ideal for applications like smart city, smart campus, airport monitoring, roadside monitoring, research projects, and Environmental impact assessment.
