Measurement Principle

The O₃ sensor uses electrochemical sensing technology to detect and measure ozone concentrations in ambient air. Ozone gas diffuses into the sensor and undergoes an electrochemical reduction reaction at the sensing electrode, generating an electrical current proportional to the concentration of O₃ present. This signal is measured and converted into concentration values, enabling accurate real-time monitoring of ozone levels. The sensor's four-electrode design helps compensate for environmental influences and enhances measurement stability under varying ambient conditions.
