The group was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It leads a number of plants for food processing and assembling units throughout the world. The FMCG ranks in various food production and processing across the world. Masan’s mission and aim are for sustainable, holistic and clean production of food and distribution.

In a food production unit, high levels of odour, particulate matter, and other gaseous air pollutants are generated. Though the odour does not extend outside the facility, Masan group in Vietnam required an odour monitoring system, in order to ensure optimum hygienic, safe, and comfortable breathing conditions for their employees. Masan has a deodorant system installed across the facility to ease the odour levels if and when they face an influx of odour levels. Odosense Pro specialises in detecting odour levels, SO2, H2S, NH3, and other various gaseous substances that can be customised to the needs of each food processing unit. With threshold-based alerts, the device equipped with Relay triggers the deodorizing system to switch ON or OFF. This saves human effort in manually operating the system based on data.

The real-time air quality and odour monitoring features of Oizom’s Odosense have helped ensure an optimum working environment for the workers in Masan Group, Vietnam. Automation capabilities via relays ensured no manual dependency on the deodorant system. Threshold-based alerts along with triggers to operate the deodorant system were helpful for mitigating odour nuisance.
