Odosense Smart
Odosense Smart is an intelligent odour monitoring system designed to continuously detect odour-causing gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in outdoor environments. It provides continuous visibility into changing odour conditions, enabling operators to investigate odour events, identify potential emission sources, and respond proactively.
The system measures hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), ammonia (NH₃), sulfur dioxide (SO₂), methyl mercaptan (CH₃SH), TVOCs, temperature, and humidity, making it well suited for solid waste facilities, landfills, transfer stations, composting sites, and other odour-sensitive operations. Support for external meteorological sensors helps users correlate odour measurements with weather conditions, understand odour trends, and evaluate emission dispersion.
Built for continuous outdoor deployment, Odosense Smart combines patented e-breathing technology, remote calibration, over-the-air firmware updates, and AI-powered odour analysis to deliver reliable monitoring while simplifying device management. The system supports GSM, Wi-Fi, and LoRa connectivity, with onboard storage to ensure uninterrupted data availability during temporary network outages. Integrated with Envizom, it provides live dashboards, smart alerts, automated reports, odour plume visualisation, dispersion heatmaps, and REST APIs for seamless integration with third-party odour modelling platforms.
