In case if the location of the device is a public property, it is suggested to take an NOC from the city Government office. In case of private premises, no permissions are required.

Yes, we ship our units globally.
Air is a dynamic medium, at every metre the air quality changes i.e in micro decimal points. As per EPA, Air Quality for about 500 Sq metres remains the same. Therefore, we suggest one device per 500 Sq metres.

Yes. Each Oizom Instrument has a unique identification with geo-tagging.
Depending on the parameters to be monitored, we can offer a customised device to cater all the requirements.
No. However, we have capabilities to integrate our data with Smart Led and Display screens.
Oizom has capability to monitor upto 30 various environmental parameters. These 30 parameters are mainly segmented into Dust, Gases, Odorants, Noise, Radiation and Weather.

Our device is communication agnostic. Apart from GSM, ETHERNET and WiFi, our device can communicate using Modbus, LoRa, and NB IoT protocols. Oizom hardware supports the following data-communication:

Yes. Oizom products can be powered using AC/ DC power and it also has the capabilities to function using Solar Power. All our products come with 48 to 72 hours of battery backup
Yes, the device is compatible for solar powered operation. The solar panel keeps the device running but also charges the battery for no-sunlight days.
Oizom devices can have a battery inbuilt. The inbuilt battery offers backup of upto 72 hours.
Battery backup varies depending on the device configuration. Typical battery backup provides uninterrupted power up to 48 hours in the absence of power supply. However, you can customize the battery backup based on the requirement.
Yes. All the Oizom devices have IP63 grade Aluminium encasing which allows uninterrupted performance against harsh weather conditions.
The device has negligible effect of rainy/cloudy weather.
Oizom hardware works in modular section, which makes it really flexible in case of any customisation.
It is possible to separate sensing part and communication/processing part which will make the overall enclosure compact.
Oizom provides 1 year warranty on the devices. It is recommended to check the Terms and conditions for the same.
Yes. However, Anti-Theft mechanism is provided on request. The Anti-theft mechanism runs a high decibel alarm when the unit is tilted or moved from its position.

No. The device needs to be started once manually through the push button provided. In case of GSM availability, once network connectivity is established, Oizom team can restart it remotely.
Oizom has capabilities to monitor upto 24 parameters from one single device.
No, there is a provision of internal storage which can store data for at least a month. However, this facility can be availed on special request while procuring the device.
The electrochemical sensors in the device are consumables.
Avg. Power Consumption is 2.5 Watt (Actual consumption depends upon the number of parameters)

Data backup is possible only till the battery backup lasts. In case no power is available after the battery is discharged, there will no data backup.
No, Ethernet can only used for data communication in Oizom devices. PoE is not possible with any of the Oizom units.
No. Oizom solutions are for Ambient monitoring. Monitoring in Industrial chimneys is Stack Monitoring. However, Oizom does provide air quality monitoring in the surrounding ambient of an industry.
The end client familiar with the location can perform the basic site survey based on the site survey checklist that we shall provide. Upon confirmation of all the necessary checks, Oizom and the end client will finalize the site.
Since wall mounted device will not be a 360 degree solution, one can observe minor variations in the readings.
Yes. A mounting plate is provided with the package when solar panel is in the scope of supply.

Periodic spot calibration is recommended every 6 months.
The device’s sample inlet is designed to allow smooth flow without choking. If the periodic maintenance schedule is followed, there are very less chances of the device getting choked. Quarterly maintenance is recommended. However, in case of solar panel integration, frequent maintenance may be required for optimum solar panel charging.
Yes, the exterior can be cleaned using dry cloth without using any harsh chemicals.
It is highly variable based on the Dust levels at the site of installation but we recommend to clean the surface of the solar panel once every month.
Smart device firmware verifies data stability constantly and notifies whenever there is any fluctuation observed.
Oizom devices can function for at least 2 days (depending on the battery configuration) with the help of power backup (if supplied). However, if there is a provision of solar power, the device can run as long as the weather is clear.
Charging gets affected if the weather is cloudy. However, the rate of charging varies depending on the cloudy conditions. Based on trials, power backup in the range of 10-50% can be achieved for the device to function.
Device uses 12V DC power. However, it is recommended to use a tester prior to handling the device under such situations.
There could be various reasons: (i) Internal charging I/C failure (ii) low voltage (iii) excess humidity on the PCB (iv) voltage spike (v) no power source. Contact Oizom Team for resolving the issue.
No, the body of the device is not electrically conductive.
No. There is no provision of local display.
It is recommended to finalize all the parameters at the time of ordering. Need based addition can be done depending on the type of sensors.
All the devices are calibrated by the NABL recognised laboratory to ensure the optimum data quality.
Overview & Dashboard views are complimentary with the devices. Moreover users can also opt for additional paid modules like Detailed Analytics, Automated reports, High-resolution heatmaps and web widgets. The data can also be integrated into other platforms using our APIs
Yes. The data can be displayed directly to the outdoor LED boards using APIs.
Oizom offers REST APIs ( Sandbox) which can be accessed from your Web terminal or by getting in touch with your Project Manager.
Yes, the admin user can limit access to modules for its sub users. Also, the admin user can add or remove sub users.
OIZOM WebApp provides user control which lets the user reset the password.
Yes, You can access the data through HTTP & MQTT based APIs.
Yes. You can choose the type of iframe that you require and add that into your existing website. Moreover, you can also use the APIs to create your custom visualization.

Yes. You can install Oizom app on your mobile phone to access data from anywhere.

We have well-trained on-site support team. Once a ticket is generated, the on-site support team is aligned if necessary.
Oizom offers three levels of support. Based on the customers O&M plan.
Our L1 support is structured to respond to any query in 24 hours and is via email.
Our L2 support is structured to respond to any query in 48 hours and is via phone or video calls.
Our L3 support is on-site support and is provided in 72 hours if the issue is not resolved.

Yes. We offer complete remote training in the form of manuals, guides and video-conferencing support, moreover on-demand in person training is also offered. However, it is advised that our support team is present for troubleshooting to avoid any damage to the device which may in turn void the warranty.
In that case, the warranty and guarantee will be null and void after one year of successful installation.
It is highly recommended to have engineer’s supervision while opening the device. Warranty is void otherwise.
Minor variations can be calibrated remotely. However, if one observes regular spikes or consistent variation in the readings, the device need to be sent to our facility.
The usual installation time for an Oizom device is 2-3 hours based on the site availability. However, data stability time can vary from 24-48 hours.
The sensors require at least 24 hours to stabilise and acclimatise to the location. Therefore it is advised to start considering data after 24 to 36 hours.
No. Not everyone can install Oizom devices. Only someone with prior training can perform the installation.
The devices are installed strategically for complete peripheral monitoring. Changing the location may hamper the effective monitoring.
Yes. Our installation engineer can be availed at site on request.
The devices can be installed on a wall or a pole.
The solar panel needs to be mounted facing the south or north direction. Also, to achieve the maximum sunlight, the angle of mounting is decided by the geographical location.
