Coefficient of variance is used to measure the variability between sensors. It is calculated by dividing the standard deviation of the sensor during the particular time period divided by the average concentration measured by all sensors of the same model on the same site. A CV of zero represents the perfect agreement between the sensors.

The coefficient of variance, often abbreviated as CV, serves as a metric for quantifying the degree of variability among sensors. It is computed by dividing the standard deviation of a sensor’s readings during a specific time frame by the average concentration measured by all sensors of the same model at the same location. When the CV equals zero, it indicates an ideal level of consensus or agreement among the sensors’ measurements.
