Definition

An individual measurement is a measurement value calculated by averaging the sensor system’s readings over a time period equal to the sensor’s response time. This approach accounts for the time required by the sensor to respond to changes in the measured parameter and provides a representative value for that measurement interval. Individual measurements can be used as distinct data points for evaluating sensor performance, comparing results, or determining whether successive measurements are independent.
