Oizom Soil Sensor is a versatile seven-in-one sensor designed to measure key soil parameters, including temperature, moisture, electrical conductivity (EC), pH, and nutrient levels of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K). It offers high precision, rapid response, and stable output, making it suitable for various soil types and long-term applications. The sensor is waterproof, corrosion-resistant, and minimally affected by soil salinity, ensuring accurate results even in challenging conditions.
This sensor is ideal for a wide range of applications, including water-saving irrigation, greenhouse management, floriculture, grassland and pasture monitoring, sewage treatment, and soil analysis for scientific experiments. Its robust design makes it suitable for long-term monitoring of soil parameters across diverse environments.
The sensor supports both surface and buried installation methods. For surface measurements, it should be inserted vertically into the soil, avoiding locations with rocks or solid materials to prevent damaging the steel needle. For buried measurements, the sensor should be placed horizontally in a pit wall, ensuring tight soil contact. The sensor’s RS485 communication interface allows it to connect with PLCs, computers, or other systems using Modbus-RTU protocols.
The sensor comes pre-configured with the Modbus-RTU communication protocol, supporting baud rates of 2400, 4800, and 9600 bps (default: 9600), and its parameters can be accessed through the provided “Envizom Monitoring Software.” This tool enables real-time data visualization, address modification, and baud rate adjustments.
