The Cl₂ sensor uses electrochemical sensing technology to detect and measure chlorine concentrations in ambient air. Chlorine gas diffuses into the sensor and undergoes an electrochemical reduction reaction at the sensing electrode, generating an electrical current proportional to the concentration of Cl₂ present. This signal is measured and converted into concentration values, enabling accurate real-time monitoring of chlorine levels.
