Formaldehyde (CH2O) sensor Module
Air quality sensor module for Greenhouse gas monitoring
The Formaldehyde sensor module can accurately measure low concentrations of CH2O at ppb level in the ambient air. The sensor module design is capable to monitor the formaldehyde emissions from point sources on a real-time basis.
The advanced support electronics of this air quality sensor makes it compact and reliable. The low noise electronics allows stable and accurate detection of formaldehyde even at very low concentrations in the atmosphere.
The formaldehyde sensor module works on the electrochemical principle. Electrochemical sensors are very sensitive to the presence of CH2O and also provide a stable response to transient relative humidity changes. Hence, this makes it an ideal choice for indicative real-time air quality monitoring for outdoor applications.
Standard calibration gases and tools are used to calibrate CH2O sensors. The calibration is in accordance with the USEPA (40 CFR Part 53) and EU (2008/50/EC) defined for equivalent method instruments.
Odour monitoring systems like Odosense Lite, Odosense Smart, and Odosense Pro use the NH3 sensor module. Therefore, this module is ideal for applications like sewage treatment plants, effluent treatment plants, industries, landfills, and solid waste management.
