Low Noise Chlorine (Cl2) Sensor Module
Compact air quality sensor for PPB level chlorine monitoring
Oizom offers various Chlorine (Cl2) sensor modules to monitor different levels of Cl2, depending on the need. The Chlorine sensor module accurately measures low concentrations of chlorine (Cl2) in ambient air and is capable of detecting levels of ppb/ppm. This advanced sensor module is designed for real-time monitoring of chlorine emissions from point sources, ensuring accurate and immediate detection.
The Chlorine sensor module is both compact and reliable due to its advanced low-noise electronics which enable stable and precise detection of chlorine, even at low concentrations, making it highly effective for continuous air quality monitoring in various environments.
This sensor works on the electrochemical principle. It is highly sensitive to the presence of Cl2 and provides consistent data even with transient changes in relative humidity. This sensitivity and stability make it an ideal choice for real-time outdoor air quality monitoring applications.
Our Cl2 sensor is calibrated using standard calibration gases and tools, as per the calibration protocols defined by the USEPA (40 CFR Part 53) and the EU (2008/50/EC) for equivalent method instruments. This rigorous calibration ensures the sensor’s accuracy and reliability.
The Cl2 sensor module is integrated into odor monitoring systems such as Odosense and AQBot, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, including disinfection processes, water treatment plants, pulp and paper industries, and food processing facilities. Its ability to provide accurate, real-time data on chlorine levels helps maintain safe and compliant operations in these industries.
Oizom offers multiple CH4 sensor module options:
OZCL2_1
Measurement Range: 0-20 ppm
Minimum detection limit: 0.05 ppm
Sensor Life: 2 years
Working Principle: Electrochemical sensing
Drift: < 2% / Month
OZCL2_2
Measurement Range: 0 – 50 ppm
Minimum detection limit: 0.1 ppm
Sensor Life: 2 years
Working Principle: Electrochemical sensing
Drift: < 2% / Month
The Chlorine sensor module working on the electrochemical principle is operated based on the diffusion of Cl2 gas into the sensor which results in the production of an electrical signal proportional to the Cl2 concentration. It allows accurate and reliable measurement of even low concentrations of Chlorine, which is essential in Cl2 monitoring in the ambient air.
