SWARM V2.2c Vibration Sensor
Vibration monitoring system designed to provide precise and reliable data for various applications, including construction and other environments
The SWARM V2.2c is a robust vibration monitoring system designed to provide precise and reliable data for various applications, including construction and other environments requiring vibration measurement and analysis. The device features advanced technical capabilities and ensures accurate monitoring of vibration levels.
The system measures vibration in X, Y, and Z directions with a frequency range of 0.5–250 Hz. It is capable of monitoring velocities up to ±50 mm/s (±2 in/s) and accelerations up to ±4 g. Key metrics include Peak Particle Velocity (PPV), Peak Particle Acceleration (PPA), Peak Particle Velocity Spectrum (PVS), Vibration Dose Value (VDV), and Effective Vibration (Veff). The resolution is a remarkable 0.5 µm/s, and noise is minimized to 25 µm/s at 250 Hz BW. The device also uses FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) to determine dominant frequencies.
The SWARM V2.2c is suitable for metric and imperial vibration measurement standards, making it versatile across different regions. It is equipped with a GPS receiver for accurate location tracking, boasting an accuracy of 10 meters CEP.
The system allows flexible logging intervals ranging from 2 to 6000 seconds. Its alarm trigger level for PPV is adjustable from 0.1 to 50 mm/s. Notifications can be sent via email, SMS, or through a personalized dashboard. Alarm levels can also be configured using pre-set standards such as SBR-A, DIN4150-3, ISEE, and more.
The SWARM V2.2c supports wireless connectivity through WiFi and 4G/LTE networks. Its internal memory can store approximately one work week of log records, ensuring uninterrupted operation.
With an IP65 ingress protection rating, the sensor is built to withstand challenging conditions. It operates effectively in temperatures ranging from -10°C to 70°C (14°F to 158°F) and can be stored in temperatures from -30°C to 90°C (-22°F to 194°F).
The device runs on external power and supports 5V USB input with a power consumption of only 25 mW in sleep mode, 1W when idle, and up to 5W during active use.
To maintain optimal performance, calibration is recommended every two years, performed by an Omnidots-certified facility. The system automatically adjusts its alignment through auto-leveling and axes alignment using gravity.
Compact and lightweight, the SWARM V2.2c measures 109 x 130 x 45 mm (4.29 x 5.12 x 1.77 inches) and weighs only 260 grams (9.17 oz). It is easy to install with a single screw and plug included.
The SWARM V2.2c is a versatile, reliable, and efficient vibration monitoring system tailored for industries requiring precise and actionable data. It combines innovative features with user-friendly functionality, ensuring accurate insights for enhanced decision-making.
