Revolutionizing Odor Monitoring
ODOSENSE
Think of Odosense as a silent guardian, specifically tailored for places like wastewater facilities, landfill sites, and fertilizer factories. These are places where unexpected odors can arise, causing discomfort to nearby residents and possibly tarnishing a company’s reputation. Odosense, with its advanced e-nose technology, continuously detects and tracks these odorful gasses, ensuring they’re managed before they become a concern.
Benefits of using Odosense Odor Monitoring System
When the wind changes direction, carrying unexpected smells, Odosense’s real-time data transfer ensures you’re the first to know. It seamlessly connects through many platforms, be it GSM, WiFi, or LoRa, sending vital information straight to your dashboard. Its compact and weatherproof design fits snugly anywhere, rain or shine. And with solar power backing it up, even the cloudiest days won’t hinder its performance. Plus, the device updates itself, saving you those regular maintenance trips.
For industries near communities, Odosense is like a trusty watchman. It helps avoid potential conflicts with neighbors by alerting you to odor issues before they become a nuisance. If there’s ever a compliance issue? You have data-backed evidence to show everything’s in order. In essence, Odosense doesn’t just detect odors; it builds trust, maintains harmony, and ensures you are always aware of your surroundings.
With Odosense by your side, you can focus on what you do best while it monitors the odors.

How Does Our Software Perfectly Compliment Our Odor Monitors?
Envizom is an advanced environmental monitoring solution designed to complement Odosense seamlessly. It is a part of Oizom’s real-time odor monitoring solution. Envizom’s real-time data collection and analytics capabilities enable effective decision-making for environmental management. Its integration with Odosense enhances the overall effectiveness, providing a more holistic approach to air quality monitoring. Together, they form a robust toolset for environmental assessment, crucial for urban planning, health risk analysis, and regulatory compliance.
These are the external modules that are attachable to the Odosense odour monitoring system range. Please note that the external modules do not come as a part of standard offerings. You can order it separately or include it while purchasing the Odosense device. Please speak with our expert team to choose the right accessories as per your application.
Our sensing technology works on proven working principles such as NDIR, PID, Electrochemical Analysis, Semiconductor, Optical Measurement. As a part of our proprietary ‘Micro Active Sampling’ (e-breathing technology), we also have a sophisticated suction-and-exhaust system for air sample collection and monitoring inside a controlled environment. This isolates the effect of the external environment on measurement to achieve 13% higher accuracy than the industry standards.
Electrochemical Analysis – The gaseous emission is treated electrochemically, where an external potential is applied. Thus, each species like CO2, H2S, CH4, etc. is identifiable depending on their oxidation or reduction potential.
NDIR – The gases emitted from the location undergo Nondispersive Infrared Radiation where the sample air is subjected to infrared radiation. Different gaseous molecules absorb IR at different frequencies. Hence, the amount of IR absorbed gives the volumetric concentration of each gaseous constituent.
PID – Photoionization detection method helps quantify TVOCs present in the sample. Highly energized UV photons bombard the molecules, which ionize and make them positively charged. These ionized molecules, in return, produce an electric current which gives a volumetric concentration of the molecules. So, the higher the current generated, the higher is the gaseous concentration in the sample.
The first one is by using our Air Quality Software – Envizom. It is equipped with the following features:
- User-friendly interface
- Smart alerts and reports
- Real-time data
- Set thresholds to automate the integrated systems
- Easy to set up
Another way to access the odor data is using secured HTTP/MQTT APIs. The data can be published on Public Displays, Smart TVs, Websites (using widgets), and Mobile Apps by using the APIs.
